Curtis Lebron Evans of Covington, Georgia passed Tuesday, February 19th, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born November 7th, 1939, in Chickamauga, Georgia. He spent most of his life in Chattanooga, Tennessee before moving to Covington, Georgia where he married his wife of 24 years Evelyn Evans. Lebron enjoyed bird watching, playing golf, and hunting. He also enjoyed his time spent living on Lake Jackson.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Evelyn Evans, parents Frank and Gladys Evans, son Curtis Michael Evans, and siblings Charles Evans, Nell Smith, and Mary Romain.

He is survived by his children Greg Evans (Michele) of Chattanooga, TN. Amanda Farrow (Todd) of Arab, Alabama. Cathy Ginn (Marshall) of Covington, Georgia, and Mike Hambrice (Jenni) of Picayune, Mississippi. Grandchildren: Hannah Evans, Brian & Kayla Hambrice (Waylon) Brad Hambrice, Carly & Klay Cranford (Axel, Lane, Mason Ann) Courtney & Bailey Dickinson, Ellie & Mateen Manshadi (Eliza) and Colton & Sydney Ginn.
