Dana Bell, age 34, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away Friday, June 19, 2020. She was born in Covington on October 21, 1985. Dana grew up in Covington and worked at Chic-Fil-A, Waffle House, and her family’s business Crawford Auto Salvage. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, collecting “All Things’ including locks and of course they had to have the key, and being with her nieces and nephews.
Dana was preceded in death by her grandparents; Edward Lee Bell, Brenda Bell, and Ann Powell. She is survived by her children Brianna Woods and Lee Woods both of Madison, her parents Alishia Skelton and her husband Randy of Conyers, and Dwayne Bell of Madison, her sisters Gabby Fernandez and her husband Brian of Porterdale and Jennifer Stovall and her husband Jonathan of McDonough her brothers D.J. Bell and his wife Chelsea of Covington and Brian Skelton and his wife Cacey of Stone Mountain her grandparents Edward and Leslie Crawford of Monticello, and Marvin Powell of Sevierville, Tennessee along with a host of other family and close friends.
Funeral services for Dana will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the funeral home.
