Dave "D.J." Wilcox

Mr. Dave “ D.J. “ Wilcox, age 37, of Monroe, GA formerly of Cummington, MA passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  He was born October 2, 1980 in Pittsfield, MA and grew up in Cummington.  He was a mechanic by trade and worked on everything from car to aircraft even working as a contract mechanic for the United States Military in Iraq.  Mr. Wilcox loved his family very much and enjoyed being with his children most of all.  His lifelong dream was to become a truck driver like his father with whom he went on trips with as a child.  Mr. Wilcox was preceded in death by his grandparents Delia Terry Robbins, and Norman and June Wilcox and his nephew Joshua Williams. He is survived by his children Levi Wilcox, Alyssa Wilcox and Shelby Underwood his father David Wilcox (Patti) of Goshen, MA and his mother Robin Robbins of Cummington, MA his grandfather Levi “Mike” Robbins of Cummington, MA his brother Jamie Wilcox (Ashley) of Winder, GA and Kellie Sibley (Peter) of Northfield, MA his beloved nieces and nephews Kenzie, Bailey, Joshalynn, Rylen, Owen, Weston, and Cole the mother of his children Tammy Wilcox along with 6 step siblings and a host of other family and close friends. 

A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  J.C.
