Dianne Louise Herring

Ms. Dianne Louise Herring, age 75, of Covington, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021.  She was born January 20, 1946 to Richard and Dorothy George who have preceded her in death.  Ms. Herring was very loving and friendly to everyone.  She was considered a “talker”.  Ms. Herring was well known for her beautiful voice.  She enjoyed singing at the Elks Club and church.  Even though her condition took away her ability to sing, her love of music would shine through whenever she heard songs she enjoyed.  Ms. Herring will be greatly missed.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carol George and brothers, Billy and Raymond George.

Ms. Herring is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Steve Garrett; son, Gregory Scott Herring; grandson, Samuel Scott Herring; siblings, Richard George, Jr. and Patty Snyder; two nephews, Tom and Matthew White along with other family members and close friends.  No services are planned at this time.
