Dianne (Henry) Vater

Dianne Henry Vater, age 65, of Macon passed away Monday, October 23, 2023.  She was born October 10, 1958 in Atlanta and grew up in Decatur. Dianne was a 1976 graduate from Towers High School and continued her education earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Strayer University. Dianne was the Human Resources Manager for Jackson Health Care.  She enjoyed watching the Golden Girls, she was an Atlanta Braves fan, and a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Dianne was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Betty Henry; and her brother Tony Henry.  She is survived by her daughters Nicole Hill (Jesse) of Acworth, and Jessica Vater of Macon; her grandchildren Georgia, Grant, and Ansley; her brother Bill Henry (Lynn) of Jefferson; her sister-in-law Trudy Henry of Covington; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.

Graveside services for Dianne will be held at 1 o’clock Friday, October 27, 2023 at New Covington Cemetery with Reverend Jon Scharf officiating.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior the service.  There will also be a Memorial Service held at 12 o’clock Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Harvest Church, 3322 Highway 41N, Byron, GA 31008 with Pastor Jim Cowart officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service.
