Donnie Gilbert

Mr. Donnie Gilbert, age 55, of Porterdale, Georgia passed away January 7, 2021.  He was born May 5, 1965 in Stockbridge, Georgia.  Mr. Gilbert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son.  He was good friend to all with a very giving and honest heart.  Donnie had a personality that could light up a room.  He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.  Mr. Gilbert was also faithful husband for 27 years.  He was preceded in death by his father Donald Gilbert and brother John Gilbert.

Mr. Gilbert is survived by his wife Sharon Gilbert, children Kayde, Trenton, and Nick Presnell, grandchildren Devin, Ciara, Alisa Martin, Zoe and Shane Cowden, Hunter and Sylas Presnell, mother Joyce Ivey, siblings Gene Gilbert, Gail Hamilton, Dottie Pace (James), niece Tiffany Wilder, along with numerous family members and other close friends. Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
