Dylon Scott Dooley passed away on March 10, 2026, at the young age of 21. Born on August 11, 2004, Dylon's life was characterized by his kindhearted nature and, his sweet spirit. He was a beacon of joy and positivity to everyone he met, and his untimely departure leaves a void in the hearts of many.
Dylon's legacy is carried on by his beloved children, Landyn and Evelyn Dooley, who were the absolute light of his life. He dedicated himself to being the most wonderful father, and his love for them was evident in every action and decision he made. Dylon's parents, Kristen and Leland Medlock, and grandparents, Scott and Ellen Dooley, Beverly and James Medlock, cherish the memory of his infectious smile and the warmth he brought into their lives. He also leaves behind his siblings, Emma Dooley and Levi Medlock, along with his cousin, Jack Shepherd.
One of Dylon’s favorite childhood pastimes was going to the movies with his grandparents, his sister Emma, and his cousin Jack, who will miss him dearly. They will forever hold on to the countless memories of joy they shared with Dylon. His family is comforted in knowing that Dylon is now reunited with his beloved sister, Abigail Dooley, who preceded him in death.
Dylon's love for the outdoors was particularly evident in his passion for fishing, a pastime that allowed him moments of peace and reflection.
Above all, Dylon was a cherished son, a doting father, a loving grandson, a protective brother, and a loyal friend. Dylon's life, though brief, was filled with moments that touched the lives of those around him in profound ways.
The family will have a gathering of friends on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.
