Obituary
Mrs. Edna Morgan Kirkley, age 62, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. Mrs. Kirkley was born to Jack and Barbara Morgan on November 4, 1960. She enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren and going to the beach. Mrs. Kirkley had a lifelong love of dogs. She also was very artistic and was an avid painter. Mrs. Kirkley was a kind and giving person who enjoyed caring for those around her. She has been preceded in death by her parents Jack and Barbara Morgan and her brother Davis C. Morgan.
Mrs. Kirkley is survived by her children Dylan Kirkley (Megan) and Shelby Boehm (Robert), her grandchildren Morgan Kirkley, JT Kirkley, Norah Boehm, and Jax Boehm; her siblings Barbara Morgan, Jack H. Morgan Jr., Emily M. Adams, John E. Morgan, William H. Morgan, and Daniel T. Morgan; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place at J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4 PM to 6 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 PM. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Giving Hands Food Pantry at the Covington First United Methodist Church.
