Elaine Dollar

Mrs. Elaine Dollar, age 64, of Covington, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. Mrs. Dollar was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 17, 1957 to Betty and Bobby Duffey, who have preceded her in death. She grew up in Stockbridge and was a graduate of Stockbridge High School. Mrs. Dollar enjoyed keeping up with friends and family on social media. She also enjoyed watching gospel groups. Her faith was very important to her, she was a member of Hemphill Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Dollar’s family was her whole world. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, working in her yard and playing with her grandbabies. Mrs. Dollar has been preceded in death by her husband Lester Dollar and her sister Diane Harris.

Mrs. Dollar is survived by her daughter Christi Snead (Gene) and her son Robert Dollar, her grandchildren Caitlyn Snead, Chase Donahue, Briehanna Donahue. She was expecting her first great-grandson, Diesel. Her nephews Adam Branch, Jared Grant and Robbie Harris, 13 great nieces and nephews, 2 great-great nieces.

A memorial service for Mrs. Dollar will be held at 4 o'clock on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Hemphill Presbyterian Church, 633 Hemphill Road, Stockbridge, GA  30281.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, TE Davis Funeral Services, 2157 East Street, SE, Covington, GA  30014.

As of April 8, 2021, Governor Brian Kemp has lifted the restrictions for large gatherings and other recommendations throughout Georgia.  However, we ask that you still be respectful of the family and others during this time. If you are sick, not feeling well, or have any symptoms of COVID 19, please do not attend the service or services.  If you feel the need to wear a mask, please do so.
