Faith Davis Obituary

Mrs. Faith Patricia Davis passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 23, 1943, to Wayne and Mildred Meng, Faith lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and the simple pleasures that brought her happiness.

Faith was predeceased her parents, Wayne and Mildred Meng, and her brother, Barry Meng. Her legacy continues through her loving children, Mia Almodovar and Pilar Walden (Matthew), her cherished grandchildren, Tiah Toro (Evan), Christian Almodovar, Sarah Almodovar, Haley Walden, Andrew Almodovar (Kenzie), Jessica Walden, Jordan Almodovar (Michelle), Alainah Almodovar, and Rebekah Almodovar, and her adored great-grandchildren, Victoria Calleja, Isaiah Calleja, Elijah Calleja, Emilia Toro, Ataleiah Almodovar, Silas Amodovar, and Gabriel Toro, and brother, Ronald Meng.

A steadfast member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church for over 30 years, Faith's commitment to her faith was unwavering. She embodied the spirit of the church community. Her presence will be deeply missed by her fellow congregants, who found in her a true friend and a sister in faith.

Faith's love for her family knew no bounds. She took immense joy in every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A woman of varied interests, Faith found pleasure in life's simple things. She was an avid fan of Billy Ray Cyrus, whose music brought a spark to her eyes and rhythm to her steps. Her evenings were often spent enjoying her favorite TV shows and movies, a pastime that provided her with both relaxation and entertainment.

Faith had a passion for the beauty of nature, as seen in her love for gardening. Her garden was her sanctuary, a place where she could immerse herself in the serenity of her flowers and plants. Birds brought her great delight, and she could often be found watching them with a smile, marveling at their freedom and grace. Faith took joy in her collection of solar figurines that sat in her window seal.

Her fascination with the Native American culture spoke to her open heart and curious mind, as she embraced the rich traditions and vibrant colors that it represents. Faith's thoughtfulness shone through in her tradition of sending cards for every special occasion. Each card was a token of her love, a reminder to her friends and family that they were always in her thoughts.
