Fred Stone Obituary

Mr. Fred I. Stone, age 73, of Covington passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. He was born in Royston, Georgia on January 3, 1949. Mr. Stone loved dancing, and spending time at The Jasper County Senior Center. He enjoyed NASCAR, football, going to car shows and the World of Wheels. Mr. Stone always had a smile on his face and was the “Best Pop” ever. He loved his dog Shaman and raised many chow chows over the years. Mr. Stone is preceded in death by his wife Sandy Stone and both his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Mr. Stone is survived by his family; Kathy Zygler, Jimmy Treadwell, Misty Caron, Chris Carte, Skylar, Alyssa, Lil Christopher Carter along with numerous other family members and close friends. No services have been planned at this time.
