German Linares, Jr.

Mr. German Linares, Jr., age 59, of Covington passed away August 21, 2023.  He was born in Cuba on February 14, 1964 to his parents German and Margo Linares who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Linares left Cuba with his family at 7 years old, he lived in several places before his family settled in Miami.  He was a loving husband and father, who was a wonderful friend, Herman cared for others more than his self.  He will be missed by everyone who knows him and loves him.  

German attended high school at Miami Springs High School and has worked for FedEx for over 28 years.  German enjoyed all water sports, boating, fishing, off roading, building things, and was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan. 

Mr. Linares is survived by his wife Francisca "Cisca" Linares; his daughters Sabrina and Gabriella “Gabster”; his mother-in-law Marie Bajkowski; along with numerous other family members and many close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 11524 Hwy 278 East, Covington, GA 30014. Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM  Monday, August 28, 2023.
