Gladys (Shubert) Hill

Mrs. Gladys Hill, age 92, of Loganville formerly of Decatur passed away Friday, March 10, 2023.  She was born in Stone Mountain on July 5, 1930 to John Wesley and Jessie Brannon Shubert who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Hill grew up in Stone Mountain and worked for Square Table Restaurant and Piccadilly Restaurant in Decatur.  She enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains and was a wonderful caregiver. Mrs. Hill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Hill and her six siblings  

Mrs. Hill is survived by her children Donnie Hill of Loganville, Connie Pilgrim (Don) of Eatonton, Joe Hill of Loganville, and Terri Fincher (Rob) of Eatonton; her 6 grandchildren; her 13 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hill will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Monday prior to the service. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
