Gloria Jean (Vaughn) Jones

Mrs. Gloria Jones, 86, of Covington passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was born on September 10, 1936 to Hollis and Annie Sue Vaughn. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Newton County. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing slot machines, going for car rides, sitting in the sun, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Stewart Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Annie Sue Vaughn, her husband William Rayford Jones, and her brother Rabun Vaughn.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters Polly Jones and Holly Cummins, and her son Bill Jones; her grandchildren Trey, Anthony, Taylor, Dakota, and Scooby; her siblings Mary Ann Berry, Penny Clay, and Billy Vaughn; along with a host of other family and friends.
