Grace (Floyd) Cochran

Mrs. Grace Floyd Cochran, age 77, of Madison, Georgia passed away Monday, January 11, 2021.  She was born in Hampton, GA to Byron and Callie Floyd who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Cochran grew up in Henry County and was a 1961 graduate of Henry County High School.  She was a longtime member of Noah’s Ark Church in Jonesboro and enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, and loved her family very much.  Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by her sister June Cooley, and her brothers Tony Floyd and Kenneth Floyd. 

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Ronald Cochran, her children; Dee Cochran Jaramillo (Mike) of Madison, Dereck Cochran (Cathy) of Fayetteville, and Darren Cochran (Kellie) of Bellvue, Colorado.  She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her sisters Etheleen Carnes of Jonesboro, and Karla Tillapaugh of Stockbridge along with a host of other family and close friends.

Memorial services for Mrs. Cochran will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Noah’s Ark Church, 2952 Noah’s Ark Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30236 with Reverend John Elliott officiating.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, TE Davis Funeral Services, 2157 East Street, SE, Covington, GA 30014.

Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
