Helen Shelnutt

Ms. Shelnutt, age 53 of Social Circle, GA, passed away September 10, 2021.  She was born November 2, 1967 to Jerry Shelnutt and Norma McCord who have preceded her in death.  Ms. Shelnutt was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.  Her biggest love in life was her family.  Ms. Shelnutt had a sweet loving soul and cared deeply for everyone.  She will be missed by many. Along with her parents, Ms. Shelnut’s brother, Sam Shelnutt has preceded her in death.   

Ms. Shelnutt is survived by her children; Barbara Christian (Josh) and Alan Shelnutt, grandchildren; Aiden and Carson Christian; siblings, Doug McMillian (Michelle), Sean Kelly, Joseph Shelnutt (Tammy), along with other family members and close friends.   

A memorial service will be Monday, September 13, 2021 at 5 o’clock in the Chapel at J. C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to service from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
