Huanne (Edwards) Bridges

Mrs. Huanne Edwards Bridges, age 67, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021.  She was born February 22, 1954 in Porterdale to Zeddie Hugh and Lois Edwards who have preceded her in death.  Huanne enjoyed rock hunting, Christmas movies, and shopping but nothing made her happier than being with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and an exceptional friend.  Along with her parents, Huanne was preceded in death by her sister Dawn Edwards, her brothers Dana Edwards and Gary Fincher, her son Chadwick Jackson, and her granddaughter Gabrille Cox.  She is survived by her husband Mickey Singley, her daughter and son-in-law Kristy and Tony Howard, her grandchildren Alexis Howard, Alexis Cox, Danielle Howard, and Paiton Howard, her great grandchildren Preston Richardson, Journee Cox, and Elan Howard.  Huanne is also survived by her sisters and brother-in-law Gail Owens and Phil, and Sharon Jones, her sister-in-law Pam Fincher along with a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Huanne will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Franklin officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  J.C. As of April 8, 2021, Governor Brian Kemp has lifted the restrictions for large gatherings and other recommendations throughout Georgia.  However, we ask that you still be respectful of the family and others during this time. If you are sick, not feeling well, or have any symptoms of COVID 19, please do not attend the service or services.  If you feel the need to wear a mask, please do so.
