Jackie (Burke) Tyndall

Mrs. Jackie Tyndall, age 70, of McDonough passed away Friday, June 24, 2022.  She was born February 27, 1952 in Columbus, Georgia to Sam and Sybil Burke who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Tyndall grew up in Donalsonville, Georgia and served proudly for 4 years in the United States Navy.  She worked at Fort McPherson and also was a mail carrier in McDonough.  Mrs. Tyndall enjoyed gardening, growing daylilies, cooking, baking, and shopping.  Mrs. Tyndall attended Eastside Baptist Church over the years and was more recently a member of Christ Community Church in Forsyth.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Arthur Tyndall, her son Ryan Samuel Tyndall, and her granddaughter Justice Tyndall.

Mrs. Tyndall is survived by her children James Tyndall of Stockbridge, Jesse Tyndall (Katie) of McDonough, and Lisa Tyndall (Robert Clark) of Shady Dale; her 14 grandchildren; her siblings Jeff Burke (Janice) of Winterville and Patricia McCoy of Morrow; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 5 o’clock Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Reeves officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM prior to the service on Wednesday.
