Obituary provided by his loving family.
Sunday, March 6, 2022, our Lord gave my sweetheart’s heart a rest and took him home. Billy was the oldest of six siblings. He was a hardworking man and always helpful to anyone in need. Billy was a carpenter by trade, working residential, business, and churches. He loved fishing, camping, and especially enjoying time with the grands. Billy was preceded in death by his father, James, Sr. and two brothers, Charles and Allen. He leaves behind those that cherish him; his wife, Cheryl; our six children, Angie, Danny, Amy, Anita, Valerie, and Crystal; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; his loving mother, Ruby; sisters, Beckey and Lillian; brother, Bobby; father and mother-in-law, Thurman and Gloria; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends. A memorial service for Mr. Dailey will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 6 o’clock at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Todd Sweat officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm prior to service.
