James Lewis Raiford

Mr. James Lewis Raiford, age 68, of College Park passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born in Atlanta on June 25, 1956 to James and Virgina Raiford. Mr. Raiford grew up in East Point, Georgia. He retired from the Georgia Secretary of State’s office after a long career. Mr. Raiford has been preceded in death by his parents James and Virgina Raiford and three of his sisters.

Mr. Raiford is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Jay Clay; his life partner Sally Griffin. As well as several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 2 PM at the City of Covington Cemetery.
