James "Jim" R. Espiritu

Mr. James R. “Jim” Espiritu, age 69, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020.  He was born January 15, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Johnny and Virginia Espiritu who have preceded him in death.  Jim grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Short Ridge High School.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and later worked for Kraft Foods.  Jim enjoyed watching TV, keeping up with social media on Facebook, and he was a great conversationalist.  He was preceded in death by his grandson Tanner Cole Germany.  Mr. Espiritu is survived by his wife Linda Espiritu of Oxford, his children Lisa Chandler (Larry) of Conyers, Tracy Germany (Lisa) of Covington, and Ron Germany of Covington. His 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his brother Ron Espiritu of Indianapolis also survive him.  There are no services planned at this time.  J.C.
