Jane "Janey" Cain

Mrs. Jane “Janey” Cain, age 81, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on October 16, 1943 to William and Elma McShane who have preceded her in death. Janey raised a household full of five boys and had many grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved very much. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets and sweaters for all of her babies. Janey had a big heart and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She would invite many people over for the Holidays, especially police officers while on duty. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Cain Jr.; sons, Eddie Cain III. and John Cain; grandson, Chase Cain, and her sister, Kathy McShane.

Janey is survived by her sons, Bill and Tammy Cain, Chris and Gretchen Cain, Stephen and Wendy Cain, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Dawn Williams Cain Hamer, many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

A Memorial Service for Janey will be at 2:00PM, Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Moore and Pastor Austin Aldridge officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00PM until 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
