Mrs. Jean Pamela Anderson, 77, of Oxford, GA passed away peacefully on January 22, 2021. She was predeceased in death by her parents, James Hunstone, Trudie and Harold Willetts; her husband, Jim; son, Martin and her dear friend, Sandra Bowden.
Mrs. Anderson was born in England on August 11, 1943. She met her husband Jim while he was serving in the United States Air Force while stationed in England. After they were married, they relocated to the United States. Jean began her career with Pacific Bell, later transferring to Southern Bell and later became a Manager with AT&T from where she retired. She attended Shiloh United Methodist Church where she participated in activities and had many friends. Jean had many titles. She was a loving wife, Mum, Grandma, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt and friend. She was a true example that family does not always have to be related by blood.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by many that loved her – her brother, Henry Hunstone and his wife Susan; her sister, Anne Carlisle and her husband Chris; her daughter-in-law, Debora Housworth and her husband Steve; her grandsons, Bradley Anderson, Taz Housworth, Coley Housworth and his wife Stephanie, Addi and Brigham; her brother-in-law, Carrol Anderson; her brother-in-law, Hubert Anderson and his wife Candy; and her sister-in-law, Gerry Brown; her nieces, Laura Jenkins and her husband Kris, Isla and Jax; Abigail Wesson and her husband Toby, Rosie; Claire Sargent and her husband David; her nephew Martin Hunstone; dear friend, Suzanne Dobbs; dear friends, Tonia Paramore and her husband Tony, Bryce and Samantha; dear friend, Tony Bowden.
Services for Mrs. Anderson will be on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00am at Lawnwood Memorial Mausoleum. Rev. Mike Wadley will be officiating.
