Jerry Ronald Williamson

Mr. Jerry Ronald Williamson went home to be with the Lord June 22, 2024.  He was born October 6, 1935 in the Red Stone Community near Jefferson and grew up in Brookhaven.  He was a GE retiree and also served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1958 during the Korean War.  Mr. Williamson was a longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church and enjoyed serving his community through the food ministry.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife of 63 years Jean Hardman Williamson; his two children Angela Elton (Bill) and Mark Williamson (Theresa); his grandchildren Chris Elton (Ryanne), Nick Elton (Ashley), Alayna Williamson, and Brent Williamson; his sister Doris Reeves; his brother Larry Williamson (Jean); along with several other family members and many close friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Williamson will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home Funeral Home.
