Joan N. Barber

Mrs. Joan N. Barber, age 68, of Covington passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.  She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 24, 1953 to Bill and Jo Campbell who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Barber grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School.  She worked for Bell of Pennsylvania before moving to Covington where she worked for Newton Federal and BB&T.  Mrs. Barber was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.  She enjoyed being outside, gardening, and loved her pets.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband W. L. Barber.  Mrs. Barber is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Noreen Barber and Robin Horton of Oxford and her dog Travis and her cat Shelly, along with three grand dogs and seven grand cats. 

Graveside services for Mrs. Barber will be held at 1 o'clock, Friday, June 10, 2022 at Adams Family Cemetery with Deacon Fred Johns officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Adams Cemetery Trust, P.O.
