John P. Alexander, Jr

Mr. John P. Alexander, Jr., age 70, of Conyers passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023.  He was born May 21, 1952 in England and grew up in Atlanta graduating from Walker High School.  Mr. Alexander enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, and working in his yard.  He was preceded in death by his father John P. Alexander, Sr., and his brother Micheal Wayne Alexander. 

Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife Teresa Alexander of Conyers; his mother Olive Alexander of Mansfield; his children Johnny Alexander of Michigan, Christie Duke (Troy) of Kentucky, Michael Dunn of Conyers, and Stephanie Hollis (Andy) of Walnut Grove.  He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his brother Darrell Alexander (Liz) of Mansfield; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Alexander will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
