Mr. John O’Neal, age 56, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023. He was born July 3, 1966 in Augusta, Georgia and grew up in Morrow. Mr. O’Neal served in the United States Army and enjoyed fishing, and was an Alabama Football fan. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Wayne O’Neal, Sr. Mr. O’Neal is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Renee Dearman; his mother Ellen Lewis Ashbaugh; his children Michael O’Neal, Lacey O’Neal, and Peyton O’Neal; his grandchildren Lilly, Eli, and Riot; his siblings Jennifer O’Neal, and Wayne O’Neal; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.
