Jonny Powell

Mr. Jonny Powell, age 45, of Shady Dale passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020.  He was born May 4, 1975 in Atlanta and grew up in Covington.  Jonny graduated from Newton County High School.  He enjoyed hunting, and fishing.  Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his father, David Powell.  He is survived by his children Cheyenne Powell, Jackson Powell, and Lucas Powell, his mother Genia Powell of Newborn, his sisters Lesli Bernat (Frank, Jr) of Bogart, Melanie Hilton (Todd) of Social Circle, his grandmother Susie Powell of Athens, along with several nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.  The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.  J.C.
