Mrs. Juanita L. Moody, age 80, of Conyers passed away Monday, March 9, 2020. She was born in Cairo, Georgia on October 30, 1939 to Albert and Mary Lowe who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Moody grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from Leon County High School. She enjoyed dancing in her younger years and was a Florida State football fan. Mrs. Moody was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend whose biggest joy in life came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Jack L. Gilliam, Sr, her second husband Bryan Moody, her sister Susie Smith, and her grandson Trey Gilliam.
Mrs. Moody is survived by her sons; Jack L. Gilliam Jr (Robyn) of Conyers, and Allan C. Gilliam of Springfield, Missouri her grandchildren Kasey, Greg, Krystal, Matthew, and Magen. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, her sister Shirley House of Crawfordville, Florida, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
A Gathering of Friends will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.
