Mrs. Kathryn P. Beam, age 91, of Oxford formerly of Lithonia passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. She was born January 1, 1929 in Lithonia to Thomas Raymond and Ethel Reagin Pierce who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Beam grew up in Lithonia and was a 1946 graduate of Lithonia High School. She was a master bridge player and loved to travel; she has traveled extensively around the world. A Baptist by faith Kathryn was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Lithonia and was baptized at 10 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Beam, her brothers Don Pierce and Bud Pierce and is survived by her daughter Karen Beam of Oxford, her sisters Margaret Pierce Franklin of Oxford, Charlotte Pierce Lunsford of Social Circle, and Ellen Pierce Westbrook of Oxford along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
