Keith Christopherson

Keith Christopherson, age 65, of Oxford passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  He was born September 27, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Huntsville, Alabama.  Keith retired from MARTA after 30 years of service.  He was an avid motorcycle rider and was a Motorcycle Safety Instructor for several years.  Keith loved to travel and spend time at the beach. He was also a talented guitarist and loved music.  Keith was a member of Gum Creek Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder.  He was preceded in death by his parents Einar and Ann Christopherson, and his brother Eric Christopherson.

Keith is survived by his wife Kathy Cason Christopherson of Oxford; his son Kyle R. Christopherson, MD (Nicole Avrett) of Grand Junction, Colorado; his brother Carl Christopherson and his family; along with numerous other family members and many close friends. 

Funeral services for Keith will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Gum Creek Presbyterian Church with Reverend Becky Baker and Dr. Kerry Duncan officiating.  Interment will follow at Oxford Historical Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2023 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Donations may be made in honor of Keith to Gum Creek Presbyterian Church, 2700 Gum Creek Road, Oxford, GA  30054.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the services.
