Mr. Larry Frix, age 64, of Covington passed away Friday, December 28, 2018. He was born in Monticello to George and Irene Morgan Frix who have preceded him in death. Mr. Frix worked for Mobile Chemical in Covington for 13 years. He went on to be a truck driver following his years at Mobile and thoroughly enjoyed his career. Larry also served his community as a volunteer fireman for number of years. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, traveling to the mountains, and being with his family. Larry was a talented woodworker and built cabinets for several churches and businesses around Covington. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and friend.
Mr. Frix is survived by his wife Melissa Frix of Covington, his children JoAnna, Jeremy, and Katy, his grandchildren Alex, Cheyenne, Jesse, and Neely, his siblings Cheryl Frix Massey, Tommy Frix (Shelia), Ruthie Frix Mervis (John), brother-in-law Dell Farmer (Jennie) along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
Memorial services for Mr. Frix will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday prior to the service. J.C.
