Larry Gordon Hayes

Mr. Larry Gordon Hayes, age 79 of Fayetteville, formerly of Stockbridge, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020.  He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to William Travis and Daisy Holbrook Hayes, both of whom have preceded him in death.  Mr. Hayes was also preceded in death by his sons, Thomas (Tommy) Gordon and Anthony (Tony) Wayne Hayes, his granddaughter Kristin Bates, his brother Lawrence Hayes and his sister Bobbie Nell Hayes.

He is survived by his children Cathy Huft, Tina Jackson, Sean Hayes and Ceili Hayes, his sisters Peggy Hutcheson and Joann Davis, his brother Jerry Hayes, his grandchildren Jeromie Hayes, Justin Bates, Melissa Smith, Courtney Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Heather Hayes, and Brianna Jackson, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Hayes will be at 12 o’clock, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Trinity Praise Center, 23898 Hwy. 11 North, Mansfield, GA 30055 with Pastor Rick Jackson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church in honor of Mr. Hayes.  J.C. Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed. There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.
