Larry Simmons

Mr. Larry Simmons, age 48, of Atlanta passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021.  He was born April 7, 1972 in Atlanta and graduated from Morrow Senior High School.  Mr. Simmons was an avid reader and enjoyed music, especially classic rock and roll like Queen, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles just to name a few.  He was preceded in death by his father Jack Simmons. 

Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife Carol Simmons of Atlanta, his mother and step father Nancy and Marvin Fouts of Covington, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and close friends.

Memorial services for Mr. Simmons will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Royeese Stowe officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time on Wednesday.  J.C. Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of a mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
