It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lillian Jeannine Digby of Oxford, Georgia who left us to be with the Lord on October 25, 2024. Jeannine was born on May 15, 1953, to Benjamin and Hester Wren of Augusta, Georgia. She lived a full and vibrant life, although not an easy one at times. She battled Leukemia for 18 years, and in this time, she used her faith in the Lord to sustain her and those around her. Through her struggles, she always smiled and found time to help others selflessly.
She was married to her high school sweetheart, Tim Digby for 46 years. They shared a bond of true love and friendship that will last forever. They formed a family of four children, Julie, Annie, Kleber and Debra along with two bonus children, Kim and Kelly. They have three grandchildren who adored their Nonny: D.J., Emma and Mary, and several nieces and nephews. Jeannine has two sisters, Deborah and Marie who will miss her larger-than-life presence and laughter, especially during the holidays.
Jeannine was our hero on this earth. She will forever be missed and will be the strongest woman we know. No one can fill her shoes. She lived by Romans 8:38, and we know we will see her again one day in heaven.
