Mrs. Linda Pflug, age 79, of Covington, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born on January 2, 1943. Mrs. Pflug was a talented artist for over 50 years, a founding member of Southern Heartland Art Gallery and taught classes to many art students over the years. She was well known for her talent in Florida as well as in Georgia. Mrs. Pflug will be missed by many who loved her, especially her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Evelyn Bowen and her sister, Susan Molkentin. Mrs. Pflug is survived by her husband, Roger Pflug; children, James Pflug, Lisa DaCosta, Lillian Meurer and her husband Neil, William Walsh, David Coleman, Deborah Hale; grandchildren, Andrew, Bryan, Dominick, and Kiersten DaCosta; great-grandson, Asher Morgan; sisters, Wendy Harrington, Robyn Bowen; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
A Gathering of Friends to celebrate the life of Mrs. Pflug will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Southern Heartland Art Gallery located at 1132 Monticello St. SW Covington, GA 30014.
