Mrs. Lorraine Laszewski, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on December 21, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, she was the heart of her family and a cherished member of her community. Lorraine’s life was defined by her unwavering kindness and her innate ability to care deeply for others.
Preceded in death by her son, Steve Laszewski, Lorraine's memory is treasured by her devoted husband, Gaylord Laszewski, and her loving children, Ron Laszewski (Joanne) of St. Louis, MO, Sarah Tousignant (Ray) of Covington, and Amy Borrero (Ernie) of Covington. Her warmth and affection will live on through her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicolas, Erica, Maria, Daniel, Selina, Kevin, and Jozef, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Isabella, Giada, Ava, Elliott, Caroline, Clayton, Emmett, Vera, Ellis, Ava, Ayana, Jade, Miabella, Kendriel, and Kaley. She is also survived by many other family members and close friends all of whom she loved dearly.
After graduating from high school in Wisconsin, Lorraine dedicated her life to nurturing those around her both at home and through her work alongside her husband in their family business. Known as a wonderful caregiver, her presence brought comfort and joy to many lives. Lorraine also found happiness in music and cooking, sharing her passion with everyone she loved.
Lorraine's life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of selflessness. Her kind and loving nature will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Lorraine leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her, truly embodying the very best of humanity.
A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, 13075 Highway 36, Covington, GA 30014.
