Obituary
Marie Hodges, age 61, of Covington passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. She was born September 18, 1961, in Atlanta to James Odell and Martha Guthrie Hodges who have preceded her in death. Marie grew up in Covington and attended Newton County High School. She enjoyed fishing and watching Law and Order. Marie is survived by her daughter Mistie Hodges of Woodstock; her son Jerimiah Chavez (Miranda) of Covington; her grandchildren Mary, Abigail, and Caleb; her siblings Sherry Jackson, Michelle Pettit, and Scot Hodges; along with numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday March 18, 2023, at The Church at Monticello, 428 Venture Ct., Monticello, GA 31064. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home-TE Davis Funeral Services, Inc has been entrusted with these services.
