Marla J. (LaVigne) Langford

Mrs. Marla J. Langford, age 73, of Knoxville, TN formerly of Covington passed away Friday, April 22, 2022.  She was born in Bossier City, Louisiana on January 6, 1949 to Charles and Myrtle LaVigne who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Langford grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and was graduate of Fulton High School.  She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed bird watching and loved the Andy Griffith television show.  Along with her parents Mrs. Langford was preceded in death by her husband William Langford, her son David Langford, and her sister Tara Fulcher. 

Mrs. Langford is survived by her son Phillip Langford (Leslie) of Newborn; her grandchildren: Levi, Breanna, Mary, Andrew, Tyler, Tanner, Dominik, James, and Dakota; her great grandchildren Liam and Stella; her sister Val Cox of Rushville, IL; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.  The family would like to express their gratitude to Sue and JoAnn for their never-ending friendship to Marla.

Funeral services for Mrs. Langford will be held 2 o’clock, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Mr. Travis Price officiating.  Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the service.
