Mrs. Mary Ann Fuchs, age 87, of Covington passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was born November 22, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank and Virginia Ebelhar who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Fuchs served as a medic in the United States Air Force where she met and fell in love with her husband, John A. Fuchs. She and John moved to Covington with their four children in 1969 and stayed for the reminder of their lives. She faithfully and lovingly cared for her family and was an example of sweetness and kindness toward others. Mrs. Fuchs loved reading, especially her Bible and listening to many genres of music. She enjoyed flowers and gardens, watching the birds that came to her feeder and traveling when she could. She was also a great prayer warrior and prayed daily for many people. Mrs. Fuchs was a faithful member of St. Augustine Catholic Church for 51 years.
She is survived by her daughter Diana Wright (Randy); son, Kenneth Fuchs; daughter Beverly Weaver (Victor); grandchildren Evan Fuchs and Carolyn Fuchs; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who loved her dearly. Along with her parents, Mrs. Fuchs was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John A. Fuchs and her son, John Michael Fuchs of Covington.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Covington at 2 o’clock on January 23, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made in Mrs. Fuchs memory to your own church’s mission fund or a charity of your choice. J.C.
