Mary (Green) Harman

Mary Harman died on September 6, 2025 in Covington, Georgia. She was 96 years old. She was a long-term resident of Oxford, Georgia and had been a member of Oxford Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Mary was born September 3, 1929 in Walton County, Georgia to the late Willie Miller Green and Mary Lou Studdard Green. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Neal Hester, Sr. and James M. (Sonny) Harman, Jr.; her son, Jimmy Neal Hester, Jr.; and her daughter, Patricia Hester Easom.

Mary Harman is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hester Smith (Martin); her stepdaughter, Pam Harman Jeffries; her grandchildren, Chris Jeffries (Tara), Wes Easom (Susan), Kassandra Smith, and James Smith; and her great-grandchildren Morgan Jeffries, Anderson Easom, and Collins Easom; her sister, Barbara White, brother Phillip Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:30 am at Oxford Baptist Church. Immediately following, a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am.
