Melvin Harvill

Mr. Melvin Harvill, age 69, of Conyers, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020.  He was born March 24, 1951 to Jack and Delma Harvill who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Harvill was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.  He was an actor for the last ten years in several movies, television shows, and a play.  Mr. Harvill was also known for singing and song writing.  He was preceded in death by his brother Robert A. Harvill.

Mr. Harvill is survived by his daughters Jessi Lanuza (Walter) and Jami Wolbers (Igor), grandchildren Sophia, Isabel, and William Lanuza, Amelie and Kees Wolbers, his brothers Mike Harvill (Janice), Mark Harvill (Sandy), Nick Harvill (Robin), Rod Harvill (Karen), along with many other family members and close friends. 

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, 2157 East Street, SE, Covington, GA 30014.

Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
