Michael "Mike" Edwin Singletary

Mr. Michael Edwin “Mike” Singletary, age 67, of Covington passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020.  He was born in Florida on January 18, 1953.   Mike loved his family, his grandkids were the best part of him, he was proud to carry the name, “Paw Paw Putt Putt”.  Mike loved the Florida Gators, NASCAR, and he never missed an episode of the Young and Restless.  He was full of life, and always a jokester, he enjoyed making people laugh.  Mike was a painter as he enjoyed and took pride in his work.  He enjoyed being at home and working in his yard cutting grass with his best friend, his dog Solo.  Mike was a great man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a wonderful friend.  His friends considered him family, they were there for him and he was always there for them. Mike is survived by his wife Audrey Lynn Singletary, his son Michael Singletary and his wife Kim, his daughter Sandi Grant and her husband Luke, his grandchildren Kurt, Drake, Tripp, Haley, Shelby, Jackson, and Eden, his great grandson Kade, his step children Kristy Holden and Darwin Willie, Jr, along with many other family members and many close friends. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in Mike's name to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
