Mrs. Jackie (McClure) Blackmon

Mrs. Jackie Blackmon, age 81, of Bostwick passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.  She was born in Fairburn on February 8, 1942 to Hubert and Mary Lynn McClure who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Blackmon grew up in Fairburn and received her Associates Degree from Massey Business College.  She and her husband Kenneth Frank Blackmon owned and operated Lubrication Service and Systems in Oxford. 

Mrs. Blackmon enjoyed shopping, traveling, she loved fresh flowers, cool weather, going out to eat, and being with her family.  She was a selfless person who always had a smile on her face, a true Southern Lady.  Mrs. Blackmon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend she will be dearly missed. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Frank Blackmon.

Mrs. Blackmon is survived by her sons Todd Blackmon (Jennifer) of Bostwick and Brent Blackmon (Nikki) of Mansfield; her grandchildren Austin, Chandler, Kennedi, and Brooks; her sister and brother-in-law Jerrie Bonner (Don); her niece Lee Landrum (Alvin); her nephew Doug Bonner (Carolyn); along with numerous other family members and many close friends.
