Obituary
Nellie Maillet, age 42, of Covington lost her heroic battle with cancer on May 7, 2023. She was born in Virginia on March 29, 1981 and grew up in Georgia. Nellie loved to play golf and was a football fan. She lived in New Orleans for a while and fell in love with the traditions and people of the area she was a huge New Orleans Saints fan and pulled for the Saints every game. Nellie was preceded in death by her father Rickey Ledford and her sister April Ledford. She is survived by her sons Dominick and Gabriel Maillet of Marietta; her mother and father Vickie and Mark Boudreau of Covington; her brothers Perry Padgett of Locust Grove and Tyler Johnson of Florida; along with numerous other family members and close friends. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at Eagles Brooke 200 Lester Mill Road Locust Grove, GA 30248 on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 3 PM.
