Patricia Ann (McCart) Daniel

Mrs. Patricia Ann Daniel passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on April 24, 1941, in Covington, Patricia lived a life characterized by her thoughtfulness and dedication to her family, her work, and her faith. She was the loving widow of the late Robert E. Daniel and was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Melba McCart.

Patricia's life was a testament to her enduring love and the strong bonds she forged with those around her. She is survived by her devoted children, Stephanie Lowe (Adam), Denise Daniel, Elizabeth Diller, and Rob Daniel, who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Christian Alexander (Lissa), Nicholas Daniel (Sheena), and Whitley Ann Denise Daniel. Her sister, Vickie Denny, along with several nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends, will miss Patricia's gentle presence and caring nature.

A proud graduate of Newton County High School in 1957, Patricia's commitment to her community was evident in her professional life. She served as a bookkeeper for Porterdale Elementary School and Fairview Elementary School, where her meticulous attention to detail and warm rapport with staff and students alike made her a beloved figure.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Patricia had a passion for cooking, caring for others, and traveling. Her culinary skills brought joy to many family gatherings, and her care for others extended beyond her own kin. She was a longtime, active member of Salem United Methodist Church, where she played the piano for many years.

Patricia will be remembered as a loving, kind, and thoughtful individual who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. Her unwavering support, her comforting presence, and her ability to make everyone feel loved are qualities that will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

As we bid farewell to Mrs. Patricia Ann Daniel, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a spirit that will continue to guide us. Her memories will be treasured, her lessons held close, and her love felt eternally. Patricia's grace and compassion have left an everlasting impact on her family and her community, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Salem United Methodist Church with The Reverend Doctor Philip DeMore officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2026.
