Patricia "Pat" L. (Lunsford) Morgan

Patricia “Pat” Lunsford Morgan passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019.  She was born in Porterdale, GA April 11, 1934 to N. Ewell & Grace Lunsford and raised in Mansfield, GA.  Mrs. Morgan was a long-time resident of Covington, GA before moving to the Augusta / Stapleton, GA area.  Pat was an excellent homemaker and cook.  Thoughtful of others, she was quick to bring a cake or pie or write a note of encouragement to her friends and family. Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joel N. “Nat” Morgan and son, Warren L. Morgan.  She is survived by her son, Carter W. Morgan (Robin) of Augusta, GA and granddaughter, Ashton Morgan of Charlotte, NC, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Graveside for Mrs. Morgan will be held at 10 o’clock Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Covington City Cemetery with Reverend Chris Shurtz officiating.  J.C.
