Peggy Sue Eubanks passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on February 12, 1947, Peggy lived a life marked by simplicity, honesty, and a deep appreciation for the everyday blessings that made life meaningful. She was a woman who valued the quiet comforts of home and the beauty of the world around her, and she carried herself with a gentle, down-to-earth spirit that left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
Peggy especially loved sitting on her front porch in the swing whenever she could. It was one of her favorite places to be, where she could relax, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the world at her own pace. She appreciated the simple pleasures of life and found contentment in being outdoors. She enjoyed antiquing and had an eye for the charm and character found in old things. Gardening was another of her favorite pastimes, and she loved spending time outside tending to her yard and enjoying the natural beauty around her. Peggy loved anything outdoors and preferred the freedom of going barefoot whenever possible, as she did not care much for shoes. That simple preference reflected her easygoing nature and her love of comfort and authenticity.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William Theron and Addie Bailey Woodall. Their memory remained an important part of her life, and she carried forward the values of family.
She is survived by her sons, Craig Eubanks and his wife, Julie, and Jason Eubanks. Peggy was a proud grandmother to Joshua Eubanks, Maggie Eubanks, Isabella Young, and Darianna Eubanks, and she cherished the special place each of them held in her heart. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Armstrong, her niece, Tara Stark, and her nephew, Jacob Corley. Her family brought her joy, and she treasured the relationships she shared with them throughout her life.
Peggy will be remembered as a woman of simple pleasures and genuine warmth. She found happiness in the porch swing, in the garden, in a favorite antique, and in the open air beneath her feet. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
The family will celebrate her life at a later date.
