Randy Conner

Mr. Randy Conner, age 80, of Covington passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025.  He was born on February 10, 1945 in Porterdale to Foster and Dot Conner who have preceded him in death.  He grew up and graduated from Social Circle High School.  Following high school Mr. Conner continued his education at Southern Tech where he received an Associate’s Degree and proudly served in the National Guard.  He was a faithful member of Porterdale Baptist Church and served as a Deacon.  Mr. Conner enjoyed deer hunting, playing golf, and was a master “Tinkerer”. 

He is survived by his wife Sheilah Graham Conner; his son and daughter-in-law Graham and Tisha Conner; his sisters and brothers-in-law Patsy Turner and her husband Eddie, and Debbie Conner Smith and her husband Gene.  Mr. Conner is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends. The family would like to thank Juanita Glover for her loving and kind care shown to Mr. Conner and the family during his illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Conner will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor David Wheeler officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service.
