Ray Keith Walters

Mr. Ray Keith Walters, age 90, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026. Born December 8, 1935, to Ray and Lena Walters, Ray was preceded in death by his beloved parents. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Ray leaves behind a legacy of kindness, commitment, and adventurous spirit.

Ray was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Covington, where he and his wife Carol were proud members of the Murphy Gang Sunday School Class. His faith and church community were central to his life, offering him fellowship and lasting friendships.

An avid outdoorsman, Ray spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and working on his tractor. His passion for the outdoors led him to a fulfilling career as a sales representative for multiple hunting and fishing companies, allowing him to travel across the Southeastern United States and share his enthusiasm with others.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carol Crowley Walters; his son, David Keith Walters; his sister, Charlotte Myers; one niece; and two nephews. He will be remembered for his gentle humor, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
